World diabetes day

With the support and encouragement from our beloved Honorable chairman Sri S.R. Reddy, Sri T. Srinivas, Registrar NET, Dr. Vijaya Chandra,  Principal, NMC,Dr. Mahendrakar, Medical Superintendent, NMCH.On occasion of world Diabetes Day 14th November 2018 under the guidance of Dr.Bheemayya Badesab, HOD, community medicine, Dr. Lakshmi, Asst. Professor, Dr. Sujatha. N, Asst. Professor, Dr. Vandana (PG) and  Dr. Satya Reddy(PG), interns have actively participated in creating the awareness programme regarding prevention and control of diabetes and it’s complications. Free check up camp for blood sugar levels was organized at UHTC, Ashapur Road. Around 50 people aged above 40 years were screened for diabetes. Camp was followed by distribution of fruits and biscuits.
