World AIDS Day on Dec 1st

Department of community medicine observed the World AIDS day on 1st December. A collage competition was organised for undergraduate students of Navodaya Medical College and Navodaya College of physiotherapy to create awareness among the public about HIV. Total of 15 teams participated. The collages were displayed in the hospital premises. Dr.Trupti, Professor, Department of pathology, Dr.Uday, Associate professor, Department of Anatomy and Dr. Ranjita, Department of physiotherapy judged the competition. Mr.Rushikesh and Miss Anushka (Team 17), Miss Irene Jose and Miss Malavika Krishna ( Team2) and Miss Rachana and Miss Suraksha ( Team 5) won the first, second and third prize respectively. The programme was co-ordinated by Dr.Ayesha Nawaz and Dr.Swetha Rajeshwari under the guidance of  Dr. Bhemayya B, prof and Head, Department of Community Medicine.
