Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 15th August 2022

To commemorate 75th Independence Day, (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav), under the able guidance and support from Shri. S.R. Reddy Sir, Honourable Chairman, NET, a Mega voluntary blood donation camp was conducted on 15thAugust’2022, at Mahatma Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Raichur from 9AM to 5PM by Blood Bank, Department of Pathology NMC, Rcr. The camp started after a brief inauguration ceremony by Shree Shankar B. Patil Munenakoppa, Incharge minister, Raichur District, Dr.Shivraj Patil, MLA, Raichur, Shree Chandrashekar Nayaka L, Deputy Commissioner, Raichur, Shree Duragesh, Additional deputy Commissioner, Raichur, Shree Nikhil .B. SP Raichur, Dr. Surendra Babu, DHO, Raichur, Dr. Mohammed Shakeer, DAPCU Officer, Raichur. The Blood Donation Camp was attended and motivated by support from Dr. T. Srinivas, Registrar, Navodaya Education Trust, Dr. PSK Patel, Medical Superintendent, NMCH&RC, Dr. A.S. Aanand, Officiating Principal, Prof & HOD Department of Pathology, NMC, Raichur. After the inaugural function, voluntary blood donation camp was conducted, in which Dr. PSK Patel, Medical Superintendent; NMCH&RC along with Mrs.PSK. Patel were the foremost donors among many. Dr. Madhavi Kulkarni accompanied by Dr. N. Prasanna Medical officers, Blood Bank NMCH&RC, along with Technicians Mr. Narayan, Mr Dinesh & Mr. Timmappa Blood Bank, Post graduate students, Interns, Staff nurses, Supervisors and Attenders of NMCH&RC, attended and coordinated for the smooth conduct of the camp. The Certificate of Appreciation was issued to all the Voluntary Blood donors by the esteemed dignitaries and the conduction of the entire Blood donation camp was successful, hassle free and was highly appreciated by the authorities involved in this event.
