Seminar was on “Types of Modalities in seeking Grants for Research activities”

The Medical education Unit & Central Research Lab, Navodaya Medical College, Raichur jointly organized the Seminar on “Types of Modalities in seeking Grants for Research activities” was held on  21st September 2016

Dr.T.Srinivas, Registrar, Navodaya Education Trust was the Chief Guest of Inaugural function and Dr.S.R.Hegde, Medical director, Navodaya Medical college, Dr. M. Rajashekar, Medical superintendent, NMCH & RC and Dr. Subarna Roy, Dy. Director & Nodal Officer, Regional Medical Research centre (ICMR), Belgavi were the Guest of Honors. Dr. B.Vijayachandra, Principal, Navodaya Medical college delivered presidential address. Dr. Bheemayya Badesab, Prof. of Community Medicine & Coordinator, Medical Education Unit welcomed the gathering and Dr. Anand kumar, Associate Prof. of Microbiology & Assistant Coordinator, Central Research Lab proposed vote of thanks.

The  Resource persons from Regional Medical Research centre (ICMR), Belgavi, Dr.Subarna Roy, Dy. Director & Nodal Officer and Dr.Harsha Hegde, Scientist-D delivered lectures on”Writing of Research Proposals, Funding Sources, Ethical Issues and publication Issues”. About  200 delegates attended the Seminar and had fruitful interactions with the resource persons. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Bheemayya Badesab
