CME cum Hands-on workshop was held on Ultrasound Guided Nerve Blocks.
Ultrasound guided nerve blocks is an advanced skill in improving the accuracy of the blocks. The department of anaesthesiology and critical care, Navodaya medical college, hospital and research centre (NMCH&RC), Raichur, has organized such a skill development event at Dr S R Hegde silver jubilee auditorium, Navodaya Education Trust (NET) campus, on Saturday, 19th October 2024. As many as 80 professionals from across Karnataka participated in the scientific event. The gathering was welcomed by the organising secretary of CME Dr.Vishwanath Meti.
Sri S R Reddy, honourable chairman, NET Raichur conveyed his best wishes. The chief guest of the event Dr.T Srinivas, registrar NET, addressed the gathering and briefed the importance of the event. Dr Ramesh Babu, organizing chairman of the event, gave introduction of the chief guest. Dr Vijaykumar, director IP&SA and Dr Rajesh Kakkeri, Medical superintendent were the guests of honour. Dr B Devanand, Dean & principal, presided the function. Dr.Nandan Padashetty participated as KMC observer. The guest faculty Dr Kiranchand, Dr Satvik Desai and Dr Vinod kumar enlightened the delegates about the USG guidednerve blocks. Other eminent personalities of the institute Dr AS Anand, Vice-principal, Dr.Mallikarjuna Reddy, CEO and Dr.Narayana Pendlikal, RMO were present. All the directors, principals, heads of the departments and faculties were present. Vote of thanks was given by Dr.Geeta H Hasaraddi . Live Hands-on Workshop was conducted in the OT complex in the hospital.
