LEGAL ASPECTS IN MEDICAL PRACTICE GUEST LECTURE REPORT
With the unconditional support and encouragement from the Honorable Chairman, Navodaya Education Trust (NET), Shri. S. R. Reddy Sir, as a part of Silver Jubilee celebration year, a Guest lecture on “LEGAL ASPECTS IN MEDICAL PRACTICE” was organized on 25th August 2018 by the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Navodaya Medical College, Raichur at Dr. S. R. Hegde Silver Jubilee Auditorium.
The inaugural function was held at 09:30 AM and Lecture began at 10:30AM. The inaugural function was presided by Dr. B. Vijaya Chandra, Principal Navodaya Medical College. The Guests were Dr Pradeep Kumar MV Professor &HOD Forensic Medicine CIMS.Chamarajnagar and Brigadier Dr. Ashok Mahendrakar, Medical Superintendent, NMCH&RC, Raichur. Dr.Bande Nawaz Program Director, Associate Professor and I/C H.O.D. Dept of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, NMC Raichur were the dignitaries on the dais.
Dr. Bande Nawaz Program Director welcomed the gathering, Dr Sidramappa Gouda, Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine introduced the guest speaker Dr Pradeep Kumar MV and Dr. Bande Nawaz Program Director, proposed the vote of thanks. Felicitation of Dr Pradeep Kumar MV was done by dignitaries
The Medico-Legal session was quite successful by the orations given by Dr Pradeep Kumar MV. A total number of 175 audiences were there which included MBBS students interns PG students clinical faculty and enlightened by the interactive medico-legal sessions. There was a question and answer session most consultants participated in that. The conduction of the entire event was highly appreciated by the assembled Navodaya students and faculty.
