On the Eve of "SAY NO TO DRUGS" on 6/1/2024 "RUN & WALK" Jatha was organized by Karnataka Police Department, Raichur. Heeding to the instructions from District Commissioner, Superintendent of Police & District Health & Family welfare department Raichur.

Faculty & Students of Navodaya Medical College participated in Jatha. The agenda (Motto) of this Jatha was to create awareness among citizen regarding “Drug Abuse”.

Jatha started from DC office via DHO office, Ambedkar Circle & assembled at Kannada bhavan, near Ranga Mandir Raichur.

A formal function was organised & Dist. Commissioner, Superintendent of Police., Dist Health officer were the dignitaries. Dr.Manohar Pattar Psychiatrist, RIMS, gave awareness talk regarding drug abuse to the students, leading to several complications and affecting their future.

The overall event was well appreciated by the DC & SP, Raichur & they urged the students to be wary of this Drugs menace.
