VITILIGO DAY

Vitiligo day was celebrated all over Karnataka and India on 25th June 2018. A Vitiligo Rath organized by IADVL Karnataka, traveled all over Karnataka. It started from Bangalore on 25th June and reached Navodaya Medical College on 30/06/18 at 4:30 pm. Around 100 people attended the function in front of the hospital entrance. Navodaya Medical College Principal, Vice Principal, RMO, Community Medicine Professor, Department of Dermatology staff, PG s and Interns hosted and attended the function. A video was played on the social stigma attached to vitiligo and how nowadays various treatment modalities are available. Brochures in the regional language about the disease Vitiligo were distributed to the patients and attenders in front of the Hospital.
