Navodaya medical college, hospital and research centre (NMCH&RC), Raichur, has organized such a skill development event at Dr S R Hegde silver jubilee auditorium, Navodaya Education Trust (NET) campus, on Saturday, 22nd October. As many as 250 professionals from across Karnataka participated in the scientific event. The gathering was welcomed by the organising secretary of CME Dr.Vishwanath Meti.
Sri S R Reddy, honorable chairman, NET Raichur had graced the occasion as chief guest of the event. The guest of honor, Dr.T Srinivas, registrar NET, addressed the gathering and briefed the importance of the event. Dr Ramesh Babu, organizing chairman of the event, gave introduction of the chief guest. Brigadier, Dr. Suresh kumar patel was the guest of honor. Dr A S Anand, officiating principal, presided the function. Dr.M K patil, KMC observer, Dr.Balaraju T C, head of the department of anaesthesia, were also the dignitaries on the dais. The guest faculty Dr Sumalatha R Shetty, Dr Sripada G Mahandale, and Dr.Govindaraj Bhat were from K S Hegde medical academy Mangaluru, who enlightened the delegates about difficult airway and recent advances in its management. Other eminent personalities of the institute Dr.Vijaykumar, director IP&SA, Dr.Mallikarjuna reddy, CEO and Dr.Narayana Pendlikal, RMO, Dr.Amruth reddy were present. All the directors, principals, heads of the departments and faculties were present. Vote of thanks was given by Dr.Vishalakshi Patil. Workshop was conducted in the state of the art skill lab in the hospital premises.
