NAVODAYA GRADUATION CEREMONY 2022 – REPORT
The Graduation Ceremony of Navodaya group of institutions was held on 29 July 2022 at 10 AM, at Raichur, which included graduates from various disciplines such as Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy and Nursing. The Graduation procession started at 9.30AM from Digital library going around the campus, finally leading to venue, Auditorium, Navodaya medical college.
The ceremony began by invoking Almighty’s blessings, welcome address was given by Dr Vijay Kumar Director IP & SA, NET, Raichur, a brief introduction of the Chief Guest was done by Dr Venkatesh M Patil.
Hon’ble Chairman Sri S R Reddy declared the graduation ceremony open, followed by Inauguration of the event by Hon’ble Chairman Sri S R Reddy and Chief Guest Dr M K Ramesh Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, RGUHS, Bengaluru, by lighting the lamp.
Other dignitaries present were Dr B Vijayachandra, Dean NMC, Dr T Srinivas, Registrar, NET, Dr P Vijay Kumar, Director IPSA, Dr A S Aanand, Principal, NMC, Dr Venkatesh M Patil and all the heads of departments of above-mentioned Institutions.
Dr M K Ramesh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of RGUHS, Chief Guest of the function, awarded degree certificates to 400 Graduates totally, representing Navodaya Medical college, Navodaya Dental college, Navodaya college of Physiotherapy and Navodaya school & college of Nursing.
Dr M K Ramesh in his graduation address, In order to exercise the duties diligently in healthcare, students need to have mental and physical health wellbeing. Interpersonal relationships are important, as most health care workers are concentrating on working very long hours and taking intermittent rest, would improve the efficiency of healthcare workers.
He also emphasized the students need to have a focused approach in selecting the further speciality branch and said budding graduates must enjoy the work to become successful in professional and personal life.
Further, Hon’ble Chairman Sri S R Reddy in his address stated that, the students must own their professional responsibilities in giving good healthcare services to the patients, to be successful in their career ahead. He also reiterated that doctors must attend to their duties, always comforting the patients and also giving due dignity to their souls.
He stressed the importance to all graduates, of acquiring quality education, skills and proficiency training and be responsible to shoulder the burden of societal challenges and provide efficient health care.
Hon’ble Chairman Sri S R Reddy, proudly expressed and congratulated all the meritorious students who brought laurels to our Institution and making a significant impact at RGUHS university level.
At the end of the event, as a token of appreciation, felicitation of the Chief Guest Dr M K Ramesh, was done by Sri S R Reddy Hon’ble Chairman NET Raichur, followed by vote of thanks by Dr A S Aanand.
Finally, the Graduation ceremony concluded giving due respects to our nation by raising for National Anthem.
